mAddI's MaNIc mOnDaY*

Well, its Monday again. And because the last week has been one of the worst weeks, todays manic Monday will be full of pictures.I don't have very many great things to talk about this week, and have hardly read anything interesting. Barrett has been awful. Poor baby started out with an ear infection, and teething on top of it. Just a few days after finding out about his ear infection, we thought he had thrush from his antibiotic. Nope. A viral infection. Mouth ulcers. No fun. It's so difficult to get him to even eat. Poor guy lost over a pound and a half in 1 week. On a happier note, this is a cute picture I got of him this week...

And the funny one...

I was able to capture a few beautiful moments in my life. Ones that make me smile so big. Ones that, a year ago, I would have never even imagined could be so special. I just love watching them together. Learning from eachother. God willing, Neither one will ever know what its like not having the other around.

In this one he's like " I wonder how I can get my door to turn that page?"

Ok. I have an awesome story for you. This past week, the gas company has informed us that they will be putting in a new gas line running through our back yard(and the neighbors.) This morning is when they actually started digging. I have a knock at my door, just after 9am, and dude tells me that they hit a gas line, and that We need to get outta our house. He said to get in my car, and park down the street for a while. Hmmm. How inconvenient, with two little ones. So we ran an arrend, and stopped at a friends place. When nap time rolled around, we headed home. Back at the house, there was a sign on our door knob saying to not try to relight your appliances, that the gas was temporarily turned off. When I open my door, my house REEEKED of gas. I was hoping it was safe to be in there. Hot the kids inside, opened windows and doors, and called the gas company just to make sure. He said to stay outside, and he would send someone over to check. As I get off the phone,
And head into the living room to bring the kids outside, this my friends...is what I see...

At first it scared me, but she had a guilty look ALL over her face.

I had threwn my purse down on the chair, (usually its up high so I notice if she trys to get into it) and gosh dangit she found my lipstick. And I'm just thinking, oh lord, she needs a bath. But wait! I have to get outta my house! So yes, we waited outside, playing with sidewalk chalk. At least I got to wipe her face off : /

I think she'd make a good redhead...

Man, that crap was a PAIN to get outta her hair. And I had no idea it has oil in it. It was caked on my tub after.

And she got it all over my counter.

But I used these bad boys. The ones with the scrubber side, and didn't even stain anything!

I initially tried to wipe it off with a rag, and it left stain all over. But those worked great, so fyi. Oh, and by the way, after washing brinks hair 4 times with a clarifying shampoo, her hair is finally orange! Like these leaves.
Fall in my neighborhood. Favorite season ever~
