God gave me you

Wow. its been one of those weeks. You know. Those weeks when you do something fun, and things get busy. You get behind on things that take weeks to catch up on. Completely packed schedule. Mammas timing got thrown WAAAAY off . As soon as that started happening, it seemed to be the trend for the rest of the week. That's when I start stressin. I visited a friend in tulsa this week. These are some great photos I took on the way.

Me and my friend have a tradition. Our breakfast nook we always go to when I'm in town is this great little place called brookside by day. Since she moved there, every time I visited I was pregnant. Except this time. This was also my first time since becoming a vegetarian . Since my favorite dish there happens to be smothered in meat, this tradition we had was meant to be broken. This place was amazing. I highly recommend it

We had a dinner outing with some good friends this weekend. Some of my greatest friends. They were able to witness something so neat. Barretts first time in a high chair. Umm...cowlick anyone?

It's amazing when you have a child with a disability, how much greater milestones are. Things you wouldn't even really consider a milestone, become one. With brink, I was just like "cool. Highchairs. Yep. They are meant for babies. I have one of those now, and yep, This will be much easier to feed her in." It's so different with Barrett. This is HUGE to ME. And it makes me so proud. Barrett also got his first taste of a pop today. Pepsie to be exact. I wouldn't typically give my 11 month old some, because I don't even drink it. But we visited auntie sissy today. And she was just letting him get enough on his lips to taste it, not really drink it. He liked it so much, he just kept grabbing the glass for more. I have to admit. The only reason why I allowed it, was because It was so cute.

Birthday dinner with the in-laws tonight. Auntie sissys birthday dinner. We don't get to see her very often, and every time we do... something happens. Her waistline expands....

It's funny, I think Barrett can't wait to play with her.

I know I can't. My first niece.well, thats a baby. Baby Mauri. I don't even know how you really spell it. All I know is that its spelled with an "I", and spelling it the other way made it look like a unique spelling of Mary. Which isn't her name . And I'm going to enjoy seeing her in some of brinks old clothes, making new memories.
